Insiders believe that the Notice on Strengthening the management of the use of auxiliary materials in primary and secondary schools has strict requirements and regulations on the publication of auxiliary materials and the evaluation of the catalogue, but the excessively detailed provisions, such as "each edition of a subject selects 1 set of auxiliary materials to recommend to local schools for students to choose", although the poor quality auxiliary materials are blocked in the school gate. However, it also makes many excellent teaching assistants unable to enter the directory, and ultimately unable to allow students to truly benefit, so they are repeatedly "teased". In addition, due to the different teaching progress, teaching mode, students' basic level is different, and even the examination mode is also different. For example, the high school examination of individual provinces takes the autonomous proposition of the city as the unit, which is not suitable for unified use of the same kind of teaching auxiliary books. And the original document did not fundamentally solve the problems of "writing forms of miscellaneous, product quality is uneven, the price is high, the market is chaotic, the use of the lack of norms" and so on. The invalidity of this document will affect the planning and publishing of supplementary teaching books in the future?

Third, the market competition is more intense. Product segmentation means increased market competition, with competition among brand assistants, larger volume companies and regional planning companies. From the promotion model to the channel model and the profit model, the "unique" competition will become more fierce. Teaching and auxiliary product pattern will be segmented, more types of segmented products will appear, the future brand products and well-known planning publishers or will have some changes.
